Comes to the Sockers from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
Made transition from midfielder to defender and proved to be one of the top defensive players for UAB in his junior season (2008) and would rank second on the team in total minutes played. Was listed among "Top 100 Freshmen To Watch" by College Soccer News in 2006.
As team co-captain, led CallawayHigh School (Jackson, Mississippi) to the state finals in 2005. He was nominated as a McDonald’s All-American and was a member of the National Honor Society.
Played for the Olympic Development Program’s South Region team for four years and was a member of the U.S. under-17 National Team
