Played in 14 of the Sockers’ 16 regular season games in 2009, totaling four points with a goal and a pair of assists, and scored the game-winning goal in the Sockers’ playoff win over Austin, breaking a 1-1 tie in the 51st minute (at Grande Communications Stadium).
Has played the last two seasons at West Texas A&M, scoring three goals and recorded one assist for a total of seven points in his sophomore season at WT (2009). Furness took 10 of 25 shots on goal (.400 percentage) with one a game-winner.
