The former Odessa High School star played in all 16 regular season games (and both playoff games), for the Sockers in 2009, scoring eight goals and totaling 17 points.
Joe was considered perhaps the top player in the Permian Basin during his three seasons at OHS.
In his senior season (2003), led the Bronchos to a district championship and a regional Final Four appearance.
In 2007, Munoz played for El Paso Indios USA, scoring eight goals in 16 games. The club captured a national championship, claiming the United State Amateur Soccer Association (USASA) National Cup in 2007.
